What "Rather" said so strongly is something that IAITC believes in. The faculty at IAITC is not people who believe in giving lectures on the subject. They are mentors who are responsible for the entrenchment of the subject deep in the understanding of students.
This is achieved by the core team of faculty who are Doctorates in their respective fields. Some of them are pursuing their Phd. The faculty is a mentor, a coach and a guide to maneuver the students through the curriculum by creating an environment of inquisitiveness, creativity and zeal to learn. The minimum experience that the faculty has is about 6 years and most of them come with industry experience giving the extra edge to knowledge seekers of the campus.
Individual attention is provided to students in such a manner that the faculty to student ratio does not go beyond 1:15. A mentor is assigned to a group of 15 – 20 students who is their friend, philosopher and guide. The relationship extends beyond classroom and leads to building a confident rapport by which the students are groomed for life.
Apart from the core faculty, there are three classification of faculty:
Adjunct Faculty
Subject matter experts who have in depth knowledge of a particular subject based on their interest and dedication are the people who are adjunct faculty to IAITC. They are primarily members of reputed national and international universities and research labs. They provide the key and in depth knowledge of the subject by sharing insights from their work. They are largely people who have dedicated their life to the cause of the subject. Their role is not just to share but to provide a platform of curiosity and desire to learn.
Visiting Faculty
Industry experts who have spent years in the industry are apt for sharing their learnings to an audience who is getting prepared to enter the work life. IAITC invites Visiting Faculty on a regular basis to share ground realities, nuance and intricacies of a typical work life in the industry. Sometimes simulations of a similar kind make the students "industry" ready.
Research Professors
IAITC is not just a knowledge center but believes in adding value to the cause of science. Research Professors in the institution campus dedicatedly carry out research programs. They sometimes add value to the student group by holding classes. Students are also allowed to assist the professors and open ways to be Research Assistants in case they would like to pursue research or academia.
